Do you ever have one of those days that starts out awesome, and then suddenly somehow that gnarly negative voice in your head takes over?!  Of course you do, it happens to the best of us!  And although it only happens to me on a RARE occasion, man, yesterday was one of those days for me.  I was going along just fine and dandy when out of NOWHERE I started to think these thoughts…

-I’m a bad gf

-I’m selfish

-I’m doing a horrible job leading my team

-I’m lazy

-I look terrible

-I should be getting more done

Then I saw on my friends  page that she was having the exact same thing happen to her.. and she’s a badass!  That’s when I realized what I was doing and had to stop and snap myself out of it.  I didn’t realize it on my own, I had to see it through the eyes of a friend in order to have compassion for myself ❤  Does that make sense?  We think we can just talk to ourselves however we want to, but we can’t!  We have to speak to ourselves like we would a friend.  Seeing Kelly’s post made me want to help her, and that’s the same compassion we need to feel for ourselves!

Here’s how I snap out of it…

I ask myself “where do I pull my TRUTH from”?

Find your truth and find unconditional love for YOURSELF.
